Many of you know that my girls LOVE "pancaked" braids... so we decided to film this updo incorporating one. As you know, pancake braid is essentially a braid with the elbows tugged out, expanding/flattening the braid. {We Dutch braided from the top of the head all the way down the back.}
We then took two sections on either side of the head and twisted them, messed them up a bit, and twisted them around the bottom of the pancake braid, and pinned them.
The finished look is beautiful!
Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 1 small elastic band, 2-4 bobby pins, hairspray or accessory {if desired}.
Time Requirement: 5-7 minutes
